It's in the public section of the forum so that Mike can respond if he wishes to - he knows that as a matter of course, his forum access will become restricted.

Yes, something needs to be done, and the leadership as a whole is aware of this and is striving to do the very best for you as players as the server progresses. Don't think we're not working in the background for you!

As for Mike - well, he knows what i think of him. he's my symbiotic organism, and without him, I would have been destroyed and given up long ago. I'm just wondering whether his exclusion zone is one which includes villages already there... Hmm.

Mike, thank you for your kind words, you will always be one of the good ones. I remember staying up with you all night (oooe eeerrr) on the attack sweat thread, waiting to see if any of our men came home, keeping each other company and keeping the motivation going.

I admire you for your tireless relentless hits on your enemies & your army that just never seems to die lol. Your wheat production made me giggle, and our bum fun was great!!

Well Mike, it is sad to see you leaving us at FARMS, I do understand your reasons though and respect your decision. I would like to thank you for all your help you have given me on Travian, going all the way back to inviting me into the E | P, helping get my account in order and then getting me accepted into FOAD. I owe you my life on Travian!

So, another member leaves the sinking ship that is Farms. That said, there is not a lot to be missed with mike going to be honest - his level 19 fields did not contribute anything to the alliance, neither did his arrogant attitude, as witnessed again in his farewell post.
Maybe next server mike, you may have matured slightly, and can actually get on with playing the game, rather than throwing in the towel when things do not suit you?
Anmd, as for leadership, what exactly did you do to aid the leadership?

I am only posting here as I am too ugly in real life to get a girlfriend & so I am very bitter, please take no notice of me.

FARMS is still standing and isnt going anywhere, and Mike was a highly respected and hard working member of the team, one which i am sure will come back into the run of things when he is ready.

he may have left FARMS, but is no way against us, which is a far cry from other trusted and respected people who have been in FOAD/R/FARMS

Whilst you say that he is no threat to you guys, he does say:
"formal resignation from FA®MS and the
severance of all but the most necessary of ties with any part of it."
Which would point to the fact that he does not want much to do with Frams, as they are on their downward spiral.
And, going back to the threat, well, lets face it, he is not much of a threat to anyone is he? What troops does he have? Bugger all is the answer.

So, the going gets tough, and he walks, leaving you lot in the lurch - that is good leadership quality.

And, on the topic of other leaders that left for the opposition. What choice did they have in reality??
Once again, that North/South divide comes up, where those in the North are very quick to comment and judge, but do not face the same problems as those in the south. Plus, liewise, has anyone actually asked why those leaders left? Could it be they were pissed at the way things were run?

But anyway, thats besides the point. The point was, that mike was too arrogant for his own good, and whilst he could tak the talk, when it came to doing the walk, he was a bit lame in that department.

well smart arse, how do you explain Northern players moving down south to be closer to the action? or has the Mafia stronghold takeover in Central evaded you?

its far easier to see what is going on from outside the battle than if your staring the enamy in the face....

I repeat. Mike was a valued member of the aliance, and will not attack any member of FARMS, but if attacked would you blame for retaliation? and as far as his army why dont you give it a test and find out LOL

You make him sound as though he is something special, which, lets face it, he is not! We will see in the coming months what troops he actually has will we not?

Also, as for your point of moving down south - where exactly are you moving to?
Last time i looked, there was no new villages appearing around the locations of those who have left.
What you really mean, is those in the North, who wish to appear to be "united" with their southern counterparts are actually moving to "safe" southern locations, and not actually around those who ar egetting hammered, and are therfore not actually coming into the firing line. You may as well stay up north to be honest.

The thing is, this issue has been on going since it was FOAD, and nothing has really changed, apart from we lost more players to both deleting, sswitching sides, or getting zeroed. How long do you actually expect everyone to wait? Most try to get on with it ,but then, you get the whiners - someone farts in their direction, and they are begging for defence - whicjh also wears very thin after a while!
